Sports Cards
The first "sports card" appeared around 1860 when photography and baseball gained popularity. Companies such as Peck and Snyder began using baseball cards as advertising which were welcomed with open arms. Due to the popularity of these "advertisement sports cards" companies eventually pivoted focus to create sports cards.

Magic: The Gathering is a tabletop and digital collectible card game created by Richard Garfield. Released in 1993 by Wizards of the Coast, Magic: The Gathering was the first trading card game created.

Pokémon
Pokémon Trading Card Game is a tabletop and collectible card game developed by Creatures Inc. Originally published in Japan by Media Factory in 1996 and in the United States by Wizards of the Coast in 1998, it exploded in popularity and is now the most sold trading card game in the world.

Yu-Gi-Oh!
Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is a tabletop and collectible card game developed and published by Konami in Japan in 1999 and in the United States in 2002. Initially introduced in a manga as a parody of Magic: The Gathering, it evolved into the central plot device and later created as an official game.

One Piece
One Piece Trading Card Game is a table top game based on the Manga. It was created in 2022 and is the fourth highest selling trading card game in Japan.

Disney Lorcana
Disney Lorcana is a collectible card game released by Ravensburger in collaboration with the Walt Disney Company in August 2023. It is Ravensburger's first trading card game and features characters from throughout Disney contents.
